Our History: A Legacy of Service

2024: Foundation of Brotherhood
Kappa Gamma Xi Fraternity was founded on August 27th, 2024, by a group of dedicated individuals who sought to create a space for Black men to foster brotherhood, academic excellence, and community service. The fraternity's origins can be traced back to the organizational sisters of Gamma Theta Xi Sorority, Incorporated, who inspired the founding principles of KΓΞ.

NAAGLA: Embracing Unity
Recognizing the importance of unity and shared values within the Black Greek community, Kappa Gamma Xi Fraternity was chartered by the National African-American Greek Letter Association (NAAGLA) in September, 2024. This affiliation solidified KΓΞ's commitment to fostering a sense of belonging and working together to achieve common goals within the broader Greek community.

Expansion and Impact
We are now accepting applications for the Spring 25 line that will begin in February 2025. Our Crossing Ceremony will be in April after our Greek sisters introduction.
Since its inception, Kappa Gamma Xi Fraternity is expanding with remarkable growth. The fraternity has established state chapters across the nation, extending its reach and impact. KΓΞ members are known for their unwavering commitment to community service, actively engaging in initiatives that address social issues and uplift communities. Academic Achievement
Prospective members must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5. Applicants must email an official or unofficial transcript in PDF format. Additionally, we encourage members to actively pursue academic excellence and engage in scholarly activities. This could involve participating in research projects, presenting at conferences, or joining academic clubs. Your commitment to learning and intellectual growth is a key element of our fraternity's values.
